Delay Repay with Hull Trains
Hull Trains pays Delay Repay from 30 minutes late on its trains. You claim from Hull Trains even if you bought the ticket somewhere else, within 28 days of the date you travelled.

So an annual season costing £3,840, delayed 45 minutes, pays £3,840 ÷ 928, which is £4.14. Claim each delayed journey separately, naming the train, with a copy of the season.
How to claim
Online, you need the booking reference, the date and the train. Logging in is optional and lets you follow your claims. By post, download the form and send it with the original tickets and reservations, or the full booking confirmation, to FREEPOST Hull Trains Delay Repay. No stamp is needed. Tickets bought from another retailer are still claimed from Hull Trains.
How you are paid
Bank transfer, credit or debit card, cheque, a National Rail voucher, a Hull Trains e-voucher, or a donation to charity. Approved claims are paid within 10 to 15 working days.
Cancelled trains and missed connections
If your train was cancelled and you did not travel, ask for a full refund where you bought the ticket, within 28 days. If you travelled and arrived late, claim Delay Repay.
If a Hull Trains delay made you miss a connection, compensation may be based on the delay to your whole journey, so include the missed connection in the claim. Claims about another company's trains are passed to that company.
Worth knowing
- Common reasons for refusal: under 30 minutes, a duplicate, wrong journey details, over 28 days, a ticket already claimed, or another company's train.
- Claims are not normally accepted if you knew about the disruption before you bought the ticket.
